Refund eligibility for the guiding portion of your tour is based on how much notice is given before your scheduled start date:

Deposits held for pre-purchased items (entry tickets, hotels, internal flights) are treated separately, as detailed below.

Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and other monument entry tickets are issued by the Archaeological Survey of India and are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, regardless of cancellation timing. Once your itinerary is confirmed and tickets are booked on your behalf, this cost cannot be recovered under any circumstance except official monument closure.

Where hotels are booked on your behalf, refund eligibility follows the individual hotel's own cancellation policy, which is shared with you at time of booking. Many properties allow free cancellation up to 24-72 hours before check-in, while others (especially peak-season or heritage properties) may be non-refundable.

Private vehicle and driver bookings follow the same tiered timeline as the guiding fee (see Section 1) if cancelled independently. If cancelled as part of a full tour cancellation, the vehicle refund follows whichever is more restrictive between the driver partner's terms and our own timeline.

For multi-day custom itineraries (Golden Triangle, Rajasthan Grand Circuit, and similar), the deposit is typically 25-30% of the total package and is used to secure hotels, tickets, and drivers in advance. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date may forfeit this deposit proportionally to costs already committed on your behalf; the remaining balance follows the Section 1 timeline.

If you fail to arrive at the agreed meeting point within 45 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior communication, the tour is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable in full, including any pre-purchased monument tickets. Please message us immediately if you are delayed — we will always try to accommodate reasonable adjustments.

If a monument is officially closed by government authorities (including the standard Friday closure of the Taj Mahal, if a tour was mistakenly scheduled that day), or if severe weather makes travel unsafe, we will reschedule at no additional cost wherever possible, or issue a full refund for the affected portion of the tour.
